Redskins WR Santana Moss' Name Emerges in Canadian Doc's HGH Case
By admin
Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss allegedly received treatment from Dr. Anthony Galea, the Toronto-based doctor who was charged with smuggling HGH into the United States earlier this week.
According to the Buffalo News, "When Galea’s medical assistant was arrested at the Peace Bridge last September, she was on her way to Washington, D.C., where Galea was planning to meet with Moss and treat him for an injury".
Galea, who has also treated New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez and golfer Tiger Woods, is facing drug smuggling, conspiracy, lying to federal agents, unlawful distribution of human growth hormone and introducing an unapproved drug into interstate commerce charges.
Moss' name does not appear in court documents, and prosecutors do not intend to charge Moss with a crime. Newly hired Redskins spokesman Tony Wyllie described this as an "off-the-field incident" and referred the paper to Moss' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, who declined comment.
