Seahawks to Sign WR Chris Duvalt to Three-Year Contract

The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms with undrafted free agent wide receiver Chris Duvalt on a three-year contract, his agent, Thomas Kaufmann, announced on Twitter.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Duvalt, a 5-11, 175-pound wide receiver from the University of Illinois, was one of 15 undrafted free agents to try out for the Seahawks during their three-day post-draft mini-camp this weekend.

Duvalt began his college career as a defensive back/return specialist, totaling six tackles and averaging 20.4 yards per kick return during his first two seasons in Champaign before moving to wide receiver prior to the 2008 season. Duvalt started 15 of 23 games at wide receiver, catching 33 passes for 517 yards and 7 touchdowns, including 23 receptions for 361 yards and 3 touchdowns last season.
