As the 35th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, Tampa Bay Buccaneers second-round defensive tackle Brian Price is, by far, the highest drafted player to sign a rookie contract so far this summer.

According to a league source, his deal breaks down like this:

Signing bonus: $2.72M

Base salaries

2010: $320,000 (100% guaranteed)
2011: $405,000
2012: $490,000
2013: $575,000 ($510k guaranteed)

The $510,000 guarantee on Price's 2013 salary voids if Price receives a $510,000 one-time NLTBE roster bonus, which he can earn through minimal playing time and a team qualifier, and which comes due on the second day of an undisclosed season's training camp. (Will likely be earned in 2011, whenever that camp opens)

If Price earns the one-time payment, and completes a certain percentage of off-season workouts between 2011 and 2013, he'll receive a $300,000 bonus in 2013.

Total value of Price's deal is $5.32 million, with $3.55 million guaranteed.
