Ole Miss NT Jerrell Powe to Enter 2011 #NFL Draft

Mississippi nose tackle Jerrell Powe will enter the 2011 NFL Draft, ESPN's Bruce Feldman reports.

"It's time for me to go," said the 6-2, 320-pound Powe, who added that "the NFL doesn't draft 25-year-olds in the first round."

Powe turns 24 in March.

During his three seasons at Ole Miss, Powe has 68 tackles, 6 quarterback sacks, and an interception. If he does hear his name called in the first round in April's draft, Powe will be the second 24-year old defensive tackle from Ole Miss to be drafted that highly.

Peria Jerry was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the 24th overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft, and was signed to a five-year, $13.25 million contract that included $7.555 million in guarantees.
